I'm glad to hear they fixed the problem for you. I hope everybody else with this problem is encouraged by this news! Just thinking about squealing brakes makes me cringe :-/ I have 10,000 miles on my 2020 G 63, and (I hope I don't jinx things) no brake squealing at all.
Can you post a link to the video of your brakes squealing? I looked through all the posts, and I didn't see a link to your video. Maybe I missed it??

Protip. Record a two minute video of your breaks squealing (was actually a compilation of 25 separate 3 second clips) of ear piercing brake squeaking over a simple 20min errand, post it online, drop off at dealer, email them the link, and tell them you're not picking it up until its fixed.
My G63 no longer has the issue after new pads and discs.

I just got back my 2021 g63 from the dealer. The work order stated they changed front and rear pads with the "new style" so far the squeaking is gone and I feel like a normal person again.

Just passed 3,000 miles and brakes are squealing bad.
Same as others on here, happens when coming slowing to a stop.
I have a X5M that is my wife’s daily driver...I told her to put up with it because it is a high performance ride...I guess I am eating my words now....however, my G has a warranty. Lol
Anyway, I am not sure if the 2021 brakes will make a difference, as I am guessing mine has those parts.
Brake squeal, exhaust rattle, and a couple interior rattles....I love my G, but would love it more if the issues were resolved....

I'm at about 9K miles / 18 months on my 2019 G550, and same here - no brake noise. If anyone knows if the MB p/n's are viewable on the rotor, caliper and pad w/o disassembly, I'll pull a wheel off and advise what mine is built with. Maybe there are some bad blood combos.

I have the details on my work order showing the parts that they changed. Ever since nothing nothing but quiet brakes. Another member messaged me with the same issue as yours, once they showed the details from my work order they were able to figure it out.
