Looking purely at the photos I would definitely never spec those cars this way. The red is too red outside and too white inside. Would have been much nicer with the full magno night package with black magno bumpers, wheel arches, and roof and black/platinum seating. The white would also benefit from a similar magno night treatment with black/red interior. The matte CF looks indistinguishable from the regular CF. Otherwise nice like all G63s.
I am really hoping that white magno pops in-person. Photos clearly don't do it justice. I'm also glad the red interior is a more low-key red, rather than blingy-in-your-face red. Looks like mine is at the port about to get on a ship, so we're looking at a mid-July delivery.
These color combinations are ahead of their time. Wait until you see the moonlight white magno in person. June 23rd is the arrival date for mine. Btw, I'm getting Xpel stealth PPF for the exterior along with Exoshield for the windshield. Not yet certain about whether I will tint the front windows and, if so, what percentage.
Have a deposit down for an allocation sometime in 2022. Dealer called today to ask if I would be interested in a "limited Edition" being released by Mercedes with a June availability. Several conditions apply. They will all be white and come with a $50k ADM. I said no.
Has anyone heard the same?

I had Eddie at AutoShield PPF in San Diego do the following to my magno moonlight white G63 (shoutout to him and his team: https://www.facebook.com/autoshieldca). After consulting with Eddie, we decided it was best that we avoid wrapping the car in stealth-PPF. Below is what I had done:
(1) apply Xpel stealth ppf to the REAR wheel arches only as it is a high impact area (only REAR wheel arches, NOT the front wheel arches);
(2) apply Xpel stealth ppf to all four door cups (prevents finger nail scratches);
(3) apply Xpel stealth ppf to the bottom entry of all four door cavities (prevents shoe scuff marks);
(4) apply the Bray windshield skin protection film (prevents chips/cracks);

May I ask why you decided not to wrap the entire thing in Xpel Stealth, i am in the process now and am wondering if I made a bad choice.
I pick up my 21' black magno tomorrow morning and struggled for a moment in a decision to wrap the entire vehicle as well. Shops here in the Philadelphia market wanted between $10-$14k to do a full wrap. I decided to first do a full ceramic coating.
the stealth wrap is great and I have it on a number of cars , both full and partial. I think if you have a special paint, you may not want to cover it all as you do loose some of the premium paints luster.

When the tide turns for dealers like this, I would not give them your business.... It is such short-sided thinking to gouge high-end customers. My dealer took care of me at MSRP and since then I have sent him 3 new customers who bought new cars ( just in the last 4 months).

I would agree with no ADM on standard G63's. However the Edition One was a unique situation and I can't fault my dealer for attempting to upcharge for this vehicle. When I pick up my vehicle tomorrow, I intend to put down another deposit for the next available allocation provided they do not add ADM. Current lead times and resale values are providing for a unusual set of circumstances which I'm sure will not exist for long.
