dead bugs on windshield and front grill

Hi guys, I frequently drive the truck across states and always end up with billions of dead bugs on the windshield and front grill. Any recommendation on the bug removal product? Or any tricks that can make the truck less of a bug magnet? Thanks!

Science as of yet has no plausible explanation for the ability of bugs to deftly evade being clobbered by a fly swatter, yet inexplicably engage in this kamikazee ritual when confronted with a windshield. Toward furthering human comprehension of the cosmos, I plan to tape a couple fly swatters to my truck's grill and hang a used windshield in the corner of my kitchen. I will report my findings here, prior to publishing in Nature.

I've read online about some stuff called Rejex that people swear by.
Should work on the grill and windshield to reduce the number of bugs that stick and make it easier to remove any that do manage to stick.

Purple Power is a great degreaser that helps get them off our cars. Also great to clean up exhaust tips!!

I have tried everything and have the best test mule ever, my motorcycle. There are two things I found that work decent. One is a good coat of slippery wax, that does help them release. The other is a pressure washer with a turbo tip on it. Thats the little tip that swirls around real fast. It will take off any and all bugs with no paint damage. I run mine through a deionizer for spot free washing. A little soap and blast the stuff off and a quick rinse. U can also get bug remover to add to a prewash to soften them up if you want.

I recall driving through Montana in late July several years ago -- I-90 in my Jeep with the top off around dusk. The only time I ever had to pull over and use my shoe to scrape the bug residue off the glass. Completely destroyed a set of wiper blades.

No problem. I would try sitting in the back while someone drives you first, and you could even get a mechanic stethoscope. I have seen mechanics use them to find noises when I worked in a garage.

Amazon Amazon

Sometimes you can just get a couple people to rock the vehicle with you inside to listen. More of a long shot but you never know. With the road noise gone and the engine off, things are much easier to hear

The best way to get rid of bugs’ dead bodies from your car windshield is with vinegar. It’s an excellent cleaner and also really easy to find in any household.

I found even easier is to keep them from sticking in the first place. After I put on my windshield protection film, I had my detailer put on ceramic coating. You can watch a bug hit the window and get smashed, then slowly slide up and off the top of the windshield while you're driving, since it doesn't stick.
