I don't understand what would motivate a dealer to offer a new '21 G63 at MSRP in November and wait until then for the used '21 G63 and pay MSRP (or more) for it. If the dealer wants this used G63 bad, he probably wants it now for an impatient customer he has hooked. I'm suspect that maybe the November allocation will get pushed at the last minute into the MY2022 void, and you'll be without wheels until further notice.

I think MBUSA still takes note of this, and might eventually shortchange the dealer's allocation.

 

Also some dealers can’t sell new cars for above MSRP but can sell used cars for anything. That’s how three of the MB dealers are around here.

 

That's how it is at the dealer I use, but the other MB dealer in the city doesn't sell at MSRP.

Even if they offer at MSRP and give me 20k more than I paid, you know they're gonna sell it for close 240-250k because how much people are willing to pay for it.

If some guy in Dubai wants my G for half a mil, I'll bubble wrap it in a cargo container and send it there myself (lol).

 

Going into tomorrow and putting in the order and see what they're gonna offer me in trade in.

Now, the only thing is make the same G63 color and all or switch it up.

Thinking G manufaktur South Sea Blue metallic with G manufaktur Platinum White/Black inrerior.

Mine is Arabian Gray with red/blk. But I kinda want a ,more vibrant exterior.

I am new to the Forum. Did you not enjoy the Arabian Gray? I currently have one on order in Night Black Magno, but might change to Olive Green Metallic, or Arabian. Looks like it will be a non-issue for a while with the MY22 news. I see plenty of Night Black, and Platinum Magno in LA, and would like something different. Great information on this Forum. Oh no, I love it! It's just I want a different color if I do go ahead an order a new one.

Don't get me wrong I love the gray, but I want something to PoP out and Arabian Gray is more tame, so I figured I go South Sea Blue Metallic this time around.

Also, like you said you see so many Gray, black and white Gs, but not a lot of brighter colors. And I know resale on those tend to be better with muted colors, but I don't think it matter the color on a G63, unless it's some crazy color like Hot pink or Lime Green

I'm thinking of exactly the same build. Have you placed an order. do you have any photos pls?

 

I placed the order back in AUgust of 2021 and it arrived at the end of January, but the dealer tried to pull a fast one on me and added a 50k ADM at the last second so I backed out since there was no financial reason to trade mine in for basically a different color and a a couple thousand less miles, since mine is a 2021 and this was too.

But it did look really good, it would stand out for sure.
