2021 Arrived....it begins.
Vehicle arrived yesterday and had them remove plastic only.......Headed to the shop for ceramic coating and tint in couple of days. As you can see, the build I chose is black magno with a white interior. Contemplated changing the white during the wait but glad I did not. Love this interior and love the matt paint. Mods forthcoming will be the Acropovic titanium exhaust, carbon fiber exterior trim pieces, Brabus style hood, roof led lights and possibly the rear spoiler.
I had intended to put a deposit down for a 2023 G63, however the dealer is telling me that the allocations will moving faster in the future. Will wait and see what happens with the 2022's

Seriously, I'd hesitate to sit in the car while wearing any dyed natural fabric (cotton, wool, linen, etc.), but all fabrics will convey dirt. Sooner or later someone is going to leave a spot or smudge. Check with detail shops or exterior protection shops to see what's available as a protectant to resist dirt and stains. The white leather is too nice to leave to chance.

Guys...why the issue with a white interior. Have had several white interiors over the years and can't remember it being a problem. I don't expect that I am going to do any off roading and my children are adults and out of the house. We have an x6m with white and its just as clean now as when it was new a year ago.

I've got a G550 with white interior on order. Do you recommend any protectants/sealants for the white leather or is it already good enough from the factory?

Mine is white too, but it looks different.
I love black and white interiors. My 458 spider was black and white, I have a GT3 touring, F8 spider and another car on order, all with black and white themes.
I despise stains and dirt. I would urge you to get some big fluffy 100% cotton white bath towels and ALWAYS sit on them. Will keep your seats looking brand new for life.

i contemplated doing this color on my g63 but opted for red… my mclaren 720 is also red seats… even this color is showing jean stains… so now i use white cotton clothes… also helps from wear and tear as you get in and out…
that said, wife bentley on order is a whitish, beige interior so lets see how that holds up 😒

no amount of good looks is enough to justify always having to sit on a towel in my $200k truck
the black/white interior is gorgeous and i've heard some new leather treatments are very good at preventing dye transfer.

It seems that the shops that specialize in ceramic products are also recommending a specially formulated ceramic product for leather seats. I was hesitant in agreeing to having this done before I was able to do my own research, but it does appear that this is now the latest in protection.

ditto...no way im sitting on a towel to save my seat
its like saving your girlfriend for the next guy.....
I can promise you do not get one extra dollar on trade because you sat on towels. Detail guys can do miracles to trashed interiors

Somewhere along the way this thread became a seat discussion. My intent was to journal the upgrades I install.
So here is the beginning. I was able to trace back to the manufacturer and ordered in Matt Black Carbon, the front upper with light bar, the rear wing and the Brabus scoop. This is all dry carbon fiber. Will have my bodyshop do the install once they arrive.

Maybe a good time to start over with a new thread and warn us lackeys to stay on-point!
Anxious to see the project as it evolves.

My apologies for my contributions to this thread that ran it off its rails. I guess we tend to be an undisciplined, mentally meandering crowd (lol).
