No doubt the G63 is a fantastic DD but for me the RR is a better commuter (for me). Quiet, smooth, and undercover-ish. I’ve driven the G63 a few times and it attracts way to much attention. Oddly hellcats, civics and rustangs want to race all the time when I drive it.

Hmmm so I was curious so I looked it up, apparently they do have a 2.0L 4 banger there called a G350 (not the diesel one in Europe as that is different) :

Guys, please help me understand.
If the 2022 models are indeed hybrids, what do you reckon will happen to 2021 prices? Will they hold values? Go up even more? Or will they implode due to the current bubble we're in?
I just don't understand how current owners will switch to a hybrid...
It's like me selling my performante for the next Huracan replacement which will be a V8 hybrid. Makes no sense, at least for me.

But if it's the 630hp 4.0L V8 + hybrid system they are putting the in new GT63 S E then why not?

1. The hybrid will cost more to manufacture.
2. The hybrid will produce better mpg stats on EPA dynamometer testing.
Everything else is anybody's guess.

This is the issue that no one realizes... I haven't found one manufacturer that has created a "good" hybrid. Reliability is usually the biggest issue. Now add a hybrid to the G Wagon... I can't even begin to imagine the issues with reliability.
