Hopefullly no MBs aboard. Surprised these boats aren't equipped with better fire suppression.

 

From what I can tell it's only VW-branded vehicles, primarily Porsche and VW.

I've seen people posting screenshots showing they had GT3's on that ship. Brutal.

 

Yeah, it's a shame it wasn't a boat load of Teslas heading for Rotterdam (lol).

 

That sucks. Porsche availability was bad enough already....

 

The WSJ reports that the Felicity Ace is still ablaze, and while the cause will not be identified for several months, much of the 4000 vehicle cargo was EVs, and burning batteries are now part of the problem. Water can't extinguish chemical fires. Officials are expecting a total loss, including 1100 Porsches and 189 Bentleys.

 

It sank.

 

Theres were also dozens of Lamborghinis on board as well, including Urus’s, Huracans, and several rare Aventadors. I was reading somewhere that the retail value of the 4000 cars on board was estimated to be around $500m.

 

And now they're all parked 2 miles deep in the Atlantic - makes ya wanna cry.
