What color would you like to have your G63 in?
Hi,
For the color that you have seen physically; which Color would you like to have your G63 AMG in?
trying to gauge the most sought after exterior / interior color for G63 (MY 2021 and above) that you’d love to have.
It could be something that you have seen or something that Mercedes is coming up with in the upcoming MY.

This is a timely post as my wife is trying to figure out what color to do next. Since I like to analyze things, here is what I found is currently on the used market (Autotrader). Obviously I didn't order them by percentage of the market, but you get the idea.
G Wagon Colors - 2/26/22
Total On Market: 1090
Color, Number Available, % of market
White, 230, 21.10%
Black, 397, 36.42%
Silver, 28, 2.57%
Grey, 203, 18.62%
Blue, 63, 5.78%
Red, 36, 3.30%
Brown, 7, 0.64%
Gold, 6, 0.55%
Green/Olive, 57, 5.23%
Tan, 6, 0.55%
There are a few unaccounted for (thus the % doesn't add up to 100), but that's likely because the listing doesn't specify the color. My wife thinks she likes the Sintered Bronze Magno, but since there are only 6 on the market right now (Gold) I'd say it wasn't a very popular color. There are far more blue, red, or even green G wagons available than the Sintered Bronze Magno, so I'm hesitant to go that direction.
When I see them in person I like the Platinum Magno, as well as the Graphite. We already had Black Magno (and it looked great), and her current one is white. She will probably settle on white again in the end since that is her favorite exterior G color.
For the interior, she has been thinking hard about going with the Machiato Biege/Espresso Brown, and it really does look fantastic in person. If you are going to go white exterior (non-night package) it really is a rich/classy interior choice. It would be fairly easy to resell.
However, for daily use I think she is going to pick black w/red topstitching (G Manufactur) along with Carbon Fiber. It's a safe bet for resale if she decides to get something else down the line.

Most of the G owners buy it for being unique and nothing makes a G more unique than a Magno (Satin) color.
Among all the Magno color options, Dark Olive Green Magno stand out the most for me.

I guess when you're spending that much you wanna know you have something that is both unique and could easily be sold

Those sort of run against each other in this situation though. The more "unique" of a spec, chances are it could be harder to sell. Take Desert Sand for instance. I love that color because it's such a unique option, but not sure how well it would do when it came time to sell it.

Hey!
I have looked through the configurator quite extensively and my two personal favorite options are china blue over white or Arabian gray over red. These are two very solid a little more rare options that will always have that wow factor when you see them! I would pair both with tinted windows and black wheels.

I was going to order my 23 in Black Magno/Red but now will go with Green Hell Magno/Black with Lime green stich. I am pretty sure it will be offered in the US by then.

These are the colors I'll be considering for the next allocation:
Selenite Grey/Classic Red
Arabian Grey/Classic Red
Olive metallic/Saddle Brown
I'm hoping there will be more options in 2023 other than what Canada has received for 2022.
Ultimately when the fun stops and trade-ins aren't at MSRP, I'll want Jupiter Red/Classic Red for my long term option.
