MSRP for 2022 G63s out yet?
It seems like '22s will start production 3/22 (I guess even in Europe they were selling as 21s?) and the price is out in Euros.
G350d 109,296 Euros
G400d 113,996 Euros
G500 125,956 Euros
G63 180,940 Euros
This is a price increase of 4.5%~11.2%.
Price adjusted due to inflation + base options added.
Has anyone heard of '22 prices in the US?

You can only see whats in front of your face and short term. Mercedes is worried about the next decade or the next 50 years; not just the next 2 or maybe less years...

What happens when production and the economy go back to normal? Then the car they have increased the MSRP for (more than $50k like you're suggesting....) will have to get further discounted which in the long term will hurt the brand.

Manipulating ADMs is much easier than manipulating MSRPs which is precisely why the market is the way it is.
Nevertheless, those who are jumping in and paying $100K+ ADMs today will find themselves under water, if/when "the production and economy go back to normal", and that's something to give serious thought to.

it's the MB dealerships that are responsible for the high 2021 used prices..they put up a price and resellers try to stay in the same ballpark..wouldn't it be interesting to see how much the same dealerships would want for a 2022 when it hits their showrooms..

Rivian just increased their pricing by 20% (or more) ! I have a pre-order in for an R1S that came to $78k and is now $96k. Given the demand for G-Wagon's in the USA (and the hefty ADM's being paid), Mercedes would be foolish not increase the MSRP into the US by at least $20k on G550's and more for the G63's. They will still sell very well. My local dealer is getting $75k over for G550's and $100-125k over for G63's. If the market cools (which it will at some point), then the dealers can discount to MSRP if needed (but doubt that will happen regardless).

1. Demand/Price in large part is fueled the overwhelming market strength of the G versus non-significant SUV competition in the $200K-$300K range
2. This US SUV Price Segment $200K-$300K demand has increased from what I see from my side 25% each year for the last 4Yrs
3. With the Price Strength in the G Market - instead of avg 4Yr ownership - heck 2Yr Hold-Then-Trade is another "fresh thing"/awesome really - further reduces available New for 1st-time-G-Buyers

Any update on the MY22 G550 and G63 MSRPs in the US? Or when the configurator will be updated?
It seems there's pricing and more colors in the Canadian order guides...have the US order guides been updated recently beyond what we've seen?

Spoke to my dealer today and no updates or MSRP.on the US side yet but price adjustment is expected to mirror Canada’s and Europe’s and the release of the updated guide should be iminent. I have a 3rd decade in May slot and it is still in status green.

Please understand the production Color Code's - Green - Yellow - Red for G-Wagen's has been "out-the-window" for over a year.
Originally - Green/Order-Changeable - Yellow/Order-About-To-Be-Locked - and Red/Order-Locked "was" the System.
The colors - Green/Yellow - now have no meaning for G's - ALL PO change requests for G's are subject to Graz individual approval.

I checked MBUSA website today to see if they posted the new MSRP on 3/22/2022 like someone mentioned. The MSRP price have not been updated. BUT! I did notice something different. It use to be if you supplied your zip code they would give you a list of MB dealers close to you to check their inventory. I noticed now they have dealers listed in several locations in Texas with as much distance from Houston as 900+ miles, Baton Rouge, La., couple of dealerships in FL. There are 60+ vehicles on that website. All the inventories were 2021 G550 and G63. There was a G550-Red at MB Sugar Land that was on the showroom floor in February that had a sticker price of $199,999. That same vehicle is on the MBUSA inventory list for the same dealership for $180,950. That's a $19k drop in price. Looks like they have the supply and no demand at the prices they were trying to sell them for. I guess they figured they didn't have as many suckers as they thought. Now they are stuck with expensive inventory and they want to get rid of them. If buyers just hold out they may just get a decent deal, even the clients who are waiting on the new builds - like me. I placed my order in Feb 2021. See what happens.

it's a recent change..that you can view the entire inventory list..I contacted a few and was told that the vehicle is sold and nobody gave me a good answer as to why it shows up on the inventory..

I see what you're saying but is there such a thing as a MSRP on a pre owned MB? I thought that applied to new vehicles? Once owned, and then sold again, manufacturers are no longer the shot caller. Dealerships and/or sellers set the price. Dealerships sell vehicles, like dealers are doing now, at the price someone is willing to pay for the vehicle. After leased 2019s are returned, MB will not set the MSRP the dealers will set the selling prices.
Why do you say dealers will have new 2021s? Word on the street and from MB, 2021s will now be built as 2022s? MB don't pre buy Wagons to see on the lot because they are too expensive to waiting for someone to purchase it. That's why you have to place an order to build one.
I am happy to say my salesman just called me, while I was writing this, and told me my build date AND gave me the PO#!!! I am sooooo happy. I thought this day would never come.

here's an example from Canada...technically they are only allowed to adv at MSRP however one of them has the nerve to add the adm..so much for all the talk about not selling over MSRP in canada...none of these vehicles are obviously not available...sold to some reseller with less than 100 kms..

The 66 new 2021's showing are almost certainly not really available (the number is much lower than this in actuality). This shows cars that are inbound or not delivered yet (most are already spoken for - ordered vehicles). Most car dealers/brands do this - they show cars as available until they are "delivered" (paid for).

1. All Mercedes Dealers can ONLY post a New Mercedes (any model) at MSRP - so correct Dealer ADM price cannot be posted for New Mercedes
The "slicker-than-most-work-around" - going into last fall - there were several dealers who would take a New G63 - put 30-4-50 miles on it then choose to Post on their website as "Pre-Owned" at ADM price.
2. When VPC ships and invoices a New Mercedes to a Dealer - there are automated systems that post directly into Net Star Dealer Inventory - and then there are other Dealer-side systems that auto-post to Dealer Website. There are also 3rd party auto systems like AutoTrader, CarGurus,TrueCar - that poll/pull NetStar inventory for each dealer.
3. If a member wants to Pursue a on-the-ground New 2021 G-Wagen - and face-to-face is not possible - then BEST strategy either phone or email - to give that Dealer full name/address/contact info - AND make a Realistic Purchase Price Offer. "Today" - if you want to have a decent shot - my best estimate for March would be $30K-$35K over for G550 - and $55K-$65K for G63.
4. NO - 2022 G-Wagen's are NOT right around the corner - as of today - my best "guess" would be "initial release" will be at best July - and more likely August. And 2022 dealer deliveries will be "about" 40% of 2021's received last year.
