2022 G63 AMG BASE MSRP: $231,900.00

I picked up mine today. Traded in my 21’ and paid 20k over msrp for the 22’. I’d say I got slightly lower than fair price for mine given market but not terribly to far off. The olive green is something different! I’m happy 😃

If anyone is interested, the dealership I have bought the last few from has a 2022 G63 in Arabian grey with a black/titan pearl interior arriving soon that is available. It has a $201k msrp and they're asking $40k over. Seems like the range is all over the place still, but $40k seems to be on the lower end, especially as the starting price. Not everyone is willing to pay a premium, but I thought I would post it as it's not as offensive as some of the other numbers I've heard. Feel free to send me a message and I will provide his contact details. They're located in Texas and will sell to out of state customers.

Looks great. I assume Saddle interior ? Anything different on the 22 from your trade in.
Has anyone received a 2022 yet in the middle part of the country? Like Texas. Waiting on ours now.

exact same to my knowledge from my 2021….except 15% higher msrp and mark up lol.

Question for those who have received your 22- we picked ours up and navigation roads weren’t downloaded yet…the dealer had 3 come in and all 3 had the same issue, MB says it will correct on its own but hasn’t so far…..just curious if anyone else had this issue? Thanks

I have been debating whether I want to wrap the entire exterior in XPEL Stealth PPF. It will be either the stealth PPF or the standard clear PPF. I don’t know anyone who has put stealth PPF on an AG G63. Curious how it would look. Goal here is obviously to protect the paint but also to get a more Magno like affect on it.

congrats! sounds like we have very similar builds overall. Mine is awaiting pick up. Been out of town.

I did PPF on my 20’ magno G63 however when I got my AG G63, I didn’t do any PPF. I was happy I didn’t. If anything wrap the front end if you really want to but I don’t believe it’s mandatory for the G.

I need advise about my situation.
NetStar shows MY22 as 'D50 - RLS to Carrier' on Thursday, June 28th. I went in to get paper work ready on June 30th but didn't fund because I want to see what I'm paying for and the salesman said he was ok with that. He wasn't happy since if was the end of the month but said ok. Today is Tuesday 7/5/2022 and NetStar shows F10 - 6/30/22 - Wholesaled and I10 - 6/30/22 - Retailed. I told him I thought Retailed meant it was in the hands of the dealer? He said it's showing that because of our conversation on the 30th. They showed it was sold (to me) on 6/30 and they changed it to show "Retailed" because it will help their allocation down the road. So, (considering Sunday 7/3, and Monday 7/4 holiday) it has been (7 days minus 2 days) 5 days for the truck to travel 997 miles. When you factor in stops/drop offs and R&R, it shouldn't take five days!! Am I being unreasonable?
I'm not feeling comfortable about this at all. I think there is something shady going on especially since they've had a few trucks deliver vehicles and I'm told that MY22 wasn't on either one of them.
Let me know what you think and if there is a place for me to check or anything helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have a friend in SoCal who has a 2021 G63 and was looking to trade it in for a 2022 spec'd out the way he wanted. The local dealers told him $100k over for the 2022 and offered him $150k for the basically new 2021 (2500 miles). The sales person said the depreciation on the 2021 is HUGE compared to the 2022. This is while they're selling a 2021 on their lot for $250k still.
Told him to come down to my dealer where they are more reasonable and understand that getting back a 2021 they can still markup balances out less of a markup on the 2022.
