Ordered 2023 G550 China blue: Production to delivery time?
hi everyone
I ordered a 2023 G wagon yesterday and got a March 31 production date. Our dealer told us that estimated delivery would be around end of april or early May. Is that time frame correct? Everyone on the thread seems to be talking about an “allocation” date but I didn’t see too much info on a “production” date. How much time does it typically take from production date to delivery?

End of April is optimistic. Sometime in May is more realistic. I had a build date of late Feb for my G550 and it arrived at the VPC in late April and then was held up for a couple weeks due to a part missing. Took delivery in mid-May… The wait may seem long but once you drive it the first time it’s well worth it. A very special car indeed!
