Wireless carplay devices... Who has the best currently?
As the title suggests has anyone found a carplay wireless solution that is fast and reliable? binize?

I’m currently using Pairr Max and I’m very happy with it. I first tried cplay2air but it was terrible. The Pairr Max isn’t perfect but 95% of the time it connects without issue.

I use carplaysmartbox.com and absolutely love it. Make sure you update to the latest firmware!

2023 G63 March '23 Build 2022 AMG GT 4D
I purchased the Wireless Box Plus from carplaysmartbox in november of 2021. I use it in my GT 53. May i ask where you obtain the firmware upgrades from? I didn't see a utility to update it.

once you are in the car and you have carplay active via the Wireless Box open Safari on your phone and type: 192.168.50.2 and it will take you to the settings and you can check the firmware for updates. you have to update the firmware in steps so each update takes you to the next version and keep doing it over and over again until you get firmware up to date message

haa thank you for the reply. For some reason the page will not load. I did notice that the wifi connected to the smartbox with carplay shows an ip of 192.168.47.xxx and i even tried 192.168.47.2 in that case but no go. I wonder if my older smart box may not be the same method. My invoice from November of 2021 shows Wireless Box Plus - Wireless CarPlay & Mirroring Screen × 1.

The wireless box plus unlike the plain wireless box does not support online firmware updates.
below are the firmware update instructions for the “plus”.

If you only need the wireless carplay function, you can choose carlinkit 3.0. It is pretty solid. If you enjoy watch Youtube or Netflix on your car screen. You can choose T-box plus. It has dual bluetooth, but it cannot connect two mobile phones at the same time, it can connect a mobile phone and watch. I got both from that website store. They have a professional customer service team. Hope that can help you.

Jeff made a review on Tbox plus. It supports watching Netflix or Youtube on the car screen. It looks cool.

Is this product compatible with the G63? I did not not see G class listed on the vehicle compatibility page.

You only need to make sure your car has wired Carplay then you can use it.
