Radar detector mount options
What is everyone doing for a radar detector mount in their G Wagon? The normal suction cup windshield mount does not work because of the glass angle. I use Blendmounts for my other cars but the G Wagon mirror will not accommodate one as well. Right now, I just sit in the rear seat. Better than not running it at all.

I used the V1 visor mount and put it in the passenger visor. Fit perfectly through the windshield cutout.

I have a Valentine One Gen 2 and use the windshield suction mount without any problems.

Why not just use Waze? It is much more accurate without false alarms.

I am the same as you. I still use the escort suction cup with the camera. the radar stays in place for most of the time. But I don't like the way it looks.

I've tried the suction cup method and even trying 3M double sided tape, but all it takes is a hot day parking in the sun in the summer and everything can fall.

I used double-sided Velcro tape to secure the Valentine One to the top of the small speaker. Works great.

i'm referring the rear view mount and left lower windshield mount. How is the radar detecting anything with our ir glass?
