2024 G63 4x4^2
My G63 4x4^2 build was completed on Oct 12th, 2023. My salesperson says it's a 2024 G63 4x4^2, but I have seen no mention of a 2024 model year of the squared on the internet. And well, he isn't the most informed on the nuances of squared. So, I have my doubts.
Does anyone know if they changed the model year for such a late build? The reason I'm asking is I'm ordering electric side-steps, and the vendor is asking.

That's a good question. 
I talked the dealer yesterday afternoon. The system still shows a Oct '12 build date, year 2024, but no VIN has been assigned. He went on to tell me that they have yet to receive any VINs from 2024 GWagon models (G63, G550, or 4x4^2).
At this point, I'm not sure if the car has been built or when it will be built. Has anyone gotten a VIN (or GWagon) that is a 2024 ?

I know. My salesperson isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Back in April he called and said, "I have good news", your cars being built in May. I'm like, no it's not. They've stopped production due to the axel issue. He wasn't aware. Then again, they only got 2 allocations for 4x4^2, one that was delivered and mine. So, not exactly common knowledge.
I haven't seen anyone owning a 2024 G63 4x4^2. I see 2022, 2023, but nothing on someone taking delivery on 2024. Which of course, makes me concerned. Hopefully, someone out there is also waiting and has some information.

That seems like a pretty strong sign that they don’t know how to fix it. If they could fix it, they would sell more fixed ones at the insane profit they make at this price. Cancelling the run is a bad bad sign I think ……

There was approx 300 imported in 2022 and another 300 in 2023. There is another approx 75 2024s in VPC and approx 75 2024s canceled. Depend whether you car has already been manufactured ad sitting in VPC. If not manufactured yet then it will be converted into a regular G63

I just picked mine up yesterday. Love it, drives fantastic. Now, trying to get the electric steps installed.
Does anyone know of a site that gives you a break-down of the production. How many of each color for example.
