Thanks, is yours magno, or gloss finish? Mine is hyper blue Magno, what is your color? I’ve seen pictures of the blue on the G 580, but I don’t know what the color is.
Is yours South Sea Blue Magno?

Looks great! Very similar color. I chose Hyper Blue Magno. It was my first choice, but wasn’t sure about the Magno finish. The GM at the dealership said I should get it, so I did. I’m really glad I did, I like the color.

Blue's look great on this car. I'm coming from a green taycan (video below), so I like the brighter and more unique colors My first "magno" / matte car. I wonder if maintenance is any harder on it?

I had 3 coats of ceramic applied to mine. I hand wash my vehicles and use ceramic reload spray every time I wash them.
My wife just got a car wash plan for her also-new Range Rover, but I feel like that's going to kill the paint on the G-Wagon. You hand wash it in the winter too?

Yes, I hand wash it on my driveway year round. I also have a Master Blaster to dry it, I don’t use towels.
I've just started researching magno but my plan is to have my trusted detailer put ceramic coating on and use Dr. Beasley's waterless wash so I can do what I've done with optimum no-rinse--wash the car in the garage without needing a hose.

I’ve never used that product before, but That’s a good brand for products.

How much is ceramic coating? I was considering ppf but got quoted 7-8k.

you would have to use clean microfiber towels. You can rewash them, but don’t get anything on them. You also can’t clean the wheel wells with the waterless wash.
You don’t want to scratch the paint
Usually ceramic coating is around $1-2k depending on the product. Longer lasting is more expensive.
Normally I’d recommend ppf for magno but for me I’m just not going to drive on the highway. Ridiculous I know but I either take my other car to work or take more time and go local.
