@RJR they were able to get some of the ones on the hood off with a special high heat treatment. Yours doesn’t look as bad as my whole vehicle did. You will need to let them try to fix it but the PPF has to come off. I had to take mine off to have them attempt to fix. But all in all I would say the management team at my MB was great to help resolve the issue and buy it back. You’re better off buying gloss paint and doing satin ppf on the next one. A lot less worrying.

Great news on the buy back and appreciate the info. I had this happen on my 24 Night Black Magno. Mercedes quickly approved this as a manufacturers defect and it went for repaint (no CARFAX reporting) - it was only on the hood so nowhere near the amount of yours. My 26 also has an imperfection on the hood which looks like a dirt nib so these issues do happen even with expensive cars. These issues have not affected trade in values at all and my dealer has been really good about that. Hope you get a new one soon!

Did Mercedes pay to have the PPF removed? I spoke to the GM at the dealership and they said they can try the heat process but PPF would have to come off. Then put back on after.
no my guys that ppf it for me took off for free since I use them every time. But if you want to you can demand payment from them as settlement if going lemon law route. That don’t have to cover it but might.
picked up our 2026 G63 last week. Detailer that is doing full PPf called us today to let us know there is a blemish on the drivers side hood. Thought I did a good walk through at pick up but I guess I didn’t catch it. Not sure what to do? The detailer already has all the trim pulled off.
Great news. I had the PPF removed on the hood and the dealer used the heat gun that was mentioned and the spots came completely out. If you pick up a Magno color make sure you check it out really good before you have it PPF
I took delivery of my 2026 G63 black magno last month and have almost identical spots. Was wondering if you got a resolution yet? My sales guy escalated it through corporate last month, nothing yet. I just made my own claim yesterday to hopefully expedite the process. Unfortunately the defect on mine appears to be on nearly every panel/roof/hood. I'm pretty disappointed and not super confident they are going to make it right.

I noticed a few small blemishes on the hood at the time that I picked it up from the showroom but I thought maybe it was hard water spots or something. I mentioned it to my sales rep… documented it and reported it. The sun was shining this morning and of the blemishes are very obvious. I will be calling the sales manager tomorrow…unacceptable for $250k vehicle.
Ugh, if I’d seen this thread I’d likely have gone with another color than dark olive magno. Doe you guys know if a full ppf would help prevent this? And has anyone done the dark olive in stealth? I’ve done several stealth wraps, but never on an already matte finish…
I also have seen an older (2017) dark olive magno go horribly bad, but just figured that vehicle was neglected - it was faded inconsistently over the whole vehicle… kept ,e from buying that one, went and found a newer one so hope I’ve not just bought a problem.
