I had heard the 2022 and 2023's do not have this feature - did MB add it back for 2024?

 

No, my 2024 G 63 doesn’t have it. My 2021 did. I don’t know about the 25 I have ordered. It might have it with the mild hybrid system?

 

No on my 2024. My understanding is that they removed it late-cycle on 2023 models, but eliminated it on all 2024 models.

 

Unfortunately it looks like it has returned for 25. All of the reviews Ive seen have it, but those are also Euro models so not completely sure about NA.

Yes, it can be turned off but it defaults to on every time you start the car (just like your 21).

Only positive thing about chip shortage to be honest as other members expressed the same opinion as well.

 

It is present in 2022 models too. It is very handy to avoid the loud engine noise in drive through situations. It is annoying and I turn it off in stop and go traffic situations to avoid frequent engine shutdowns.

 

Agreed! The only time I select the Comfort drive mode is when I’m in the drive through so that the auto stop kicks in allowing me to actually hear the attendant lol.

 

My Canada 2024 G63 does not have it 👍🏻
