Couldn't care less about Moncler the brand, but wish Benz would come to their senses and offer this heritage pack as a stand alone option for G class rather than some hyped limited overpriced 20 unit run... Porsche has started to do this as a option you tick on the configurator, shouldn't be that hard for Benz

But of course, Ola wanted to limit this to 20 pieces to get crazy price for them.
Moncler - as in the down jacket Moncler??? That's a weird partnership for MB to enter into. The vehicle in the video looks like the entire rear top half would be covered by Moncler down stuff. I don't think that would get certification in the US, at least not according to CA specs as it would obstruct too much rear side views. It's a silly looking car, imo...
I just want the headlight grilles, tartan inserts, a retro-colored and styled digital display option, the army green paint, retro style wheels.. they could charge 10-15-20k and this would make a lot of $$$ for Benz

The partnership didn't come as a surprise at all. Last year Moncler released a collaboration with Billionaire Boys Club, created by Nigo and Pharrell, and had Pusha T as ambassador. Pharrell became the creative director of LV menswear and brought Pusha T as the brand ambassador this year.
Mercedes-Maybach released a Virgil Abloh (ex-creative director of LV) version in 2021, limited to 150 pieces. then MB released an art-piece G-wagon "Project Mondo". And moon project was the main theme of Pharrell & Nigo's BBC brand and they just released a Lego movie "Piece by piece" and a Lego set "Over the moon".
Nigo was brought as the creative director of Kenzo (a subsidiary of LVMH) and a guest-designer of LV.
LVMH acquired stake in Moncler last week and they have been working very closely with Mercedes-Benz.
