G63 10k Service A
So just had my 10,000 mile Service A done and have a couple of questions.
1) How is $450 plus tax as far as cost compared to what other have paid.
2) Was told that the dealership does not rotate the tires, as many Mercedes Benz vehicles have different sized front and back tires. Is that the case with the G wagon?
3) A rock hit my drivers side blinker and cracked the housing. Dealership says not covered by warranty.
They took a video of the undercarriage showing tires and brake pads were in good condition. So that was nice.

I paid $437 for an A Service on my 2024 G 63 a couple of months ago. I had a 2020 G 63 for four years (traded for the 2024 G 63), and I don't think the dealer ever rotated the tires. I usually go to America's Tires every 5,000 miles to rotate the tires (no charge). They also fix flats (no charge). I appreciate this, so I usually go back when I need to buy new tires (prices are very competitive). win-win.

My 2021 G63 had a crack in the blinker and it was replaced under factory Mercedes warranty without any question.

With staggered offsets, you would think the dealership would be better suited to do this, not a third party. Also, Service A states it includes tire rotation. MB allows the dealers to not perform all of the items listed?

They must have that listed for cars running square. Otherwise they would have to unmount/remount which wouldn't be great for the tire and rims to do often.

As noted here and in other threads, Service A is an engine oil+filter change and a walk-around visual inspection of a half dozen items. Less than an hour's labor and ~$30 materials (dealer cost). Highly profitable for the dealership, and essential to funding the customer lounge espresso dispenser. Dealers sometimes advertise discounted pricing to keep their service bays filled, but $400 - $500 seems what many charge. I change my own oil (~$60 + an hour) and enjoy a beer afterwards.
