Night Package Plus

Hi everyone - just sold my night black magno/ red interior g63 and am ordering a new one. Like many, I am very frustrated that the black running boards/exhaust tips can't be ordered unless there is night package plus or magno night package on the car.

I currently have black magno / black leather with white stitching interior (I did not love the two tone red I had before), but was hoping to switch to olive metallic / black interior with white stitching this time around with black monoblocks and night package plus. wanted to see what people's opinions were on the olive green, especially those who have night package plus. For those that have night package plus, did the black bumpers/flares grow on you? Do you think it hurts resale value/ would get old quickly? It seems that the black magno is attracting the highest ADMs generally.

Personally think night black magno again would be a bit boring, especially as I would need to xpel car (I am too much of a perfectionist). I'm in SoCal and most are black, but am also worried about resale value. My night black 2020 sold very quickly and there doesn't seem to be very many olive green ones for sale.

curious to hear how people are approaching the dilemma of wanting black exhaust tips/running boards vs just going for black to make everything match.

I've had both the olive metallic with and without night package plus. I spec'd a 2023 with monoblocks with just regular night package and picked up a cancelled 2024 olive with night package plus.

In the past I haven't been a fan of the night package plus but it has grown on me.

The olive green is dark enough that the night package plus is not super obvious. To me I prefer having the same color fender flares over the black running boards and tips, of course in 2024 they remained silver.

I love the accented look of the night package plus (along with the black roof) compared to the all matching look which is a bit less interesting. I do wish that they would've allowed night package plus Magno on non-Magno color on the configurator, not the end of the world but it boggles my mind why they wouldn't allow this.

black running boards and exhaust tips look superb in black. do the black running boards show scratches any less than the standard ones? my standard ones have scratches all over from getting in / out of the G and drives me bit nuts given the rest of the rig is pristine.

Hi. May I ask is this color Selenite Grey Metallic? I believe it is, but just want to confirm. I am expecting delivery next month of a Selenite Grey Metallic with Night Package Plus and AMG line trims, so I love seeing photos since I have only seen the color in person on a G once.

I ended up ordering my 2025 G550, which should be delivered next month, with Night Package Plus as I like the full black trim. The Night Package looks great, but not having the full blackout for me, including the emblems, just seemed a little off because I picked Selenite Grey Metallic. It also made me choose AMG Line trim, as that was automatically selected with Night Package Plus on the G550.

Below are a couple photos from the build brochure that I sent to the dealership, sorry it's from the MB site so not the best quality.

Ahhhh, OK... I was looking a bit closer and figured it out as well. I was thinking it was a bit too dark for the Selenite Grey Metallic. I am sorry, I am still learning to tell the difference between a few of the colors in different lights. Either way, it looks AMAZING - such a beautiful truck.
