2024 G63 trade in

Given standard vehicle depreciation rates are 20-30% in the first year and 10-20% the second year, then usually plateau based on vehicle demand the years moving forward… If we use 25%, the first year depreciation would be 68,000. Using 15% depreciation on the second year would be an additional 30,000.
So in line with vehicle depreciation standards, it should have lost 98,000 in value. Obviously there are many factors to consider when applying depreciation, I’m just using current standards. In my opinion, 18% is reasonable and shows that these trucks are desirable and hold their value above the normal average.
If the current G63 happens to be the last V8 for some reason, it’s quite possible the vehicle could hold its value or appreciate slightly, but not likely.
Hope this gives you some context!
Cheers

Also, if anyone is looking for trade-in values, you can ping me, I can connect you with some MB dealers just to get you some ball park numbers. No obligations, I just work with a couple and know some people who can help. I'd trade mine back to a MB dealer, but just trying to get some cash out now.

Here is another example of a just listed Matte White edition 1 with 3000 miles only at $152K including the CPO warranty which actually costs the dealer more than $3000-$4000.
