Have a custom cabinetry shop build you something nice. Exotic hardwood varnished and lined with something soft (eg flock or carpet) or tacky (Alcantara or hi-tack rubber).
Add high quality latches, hooks and hinges to secure it to the vehicle and make the unit flexible on size/format/configuration. Add lighting inside the device fed by the rear 12V cigarette socket.
You can do this.

Hey guys, Thanks for the Amazon links. I had visited Amazon before I started this topic, but I question just how nice a $23 organizer could possibly be. The Napa leather one with the cover looks ok but not very tall and the pictures they show on Amazon are not pictures of a G wagon interior. My GF said..."just buy a Hermes or LV suitcase and stick it back there" 🤣

Custom leather compartments are possible from a saddlery... If you want something "special" you are going to have to work for it.
Whatever you want is possible. However maybe not for $25 with next day delivery from Amazon.

I wanted something very nice as well, and asked myself the same question about the Amazon one I shared. I figured if it wasn’t good, or didn’t work for me, then I would easily and instantly return it. It worked fine and looked fine, so I still use it.

Probably not what you’re looking for, but I like being able to remove storage so I just use collapsible crates or Zarges boxes. Though, I wouldn’t mind having the ORC drawer:
