did anyone add a Valve tronics exhaust or akrapovic exhaust to the 2025 G63? And if so, what are your thoughts? Would you do it again?

 

I've done the Fi Exhaust system on a 2025, and it adds a nice rumble. Not a huge increase in volume, but definitely adds a deeper tone and more noticeable when gettting into the throttle more aggressively.

 

I am waiting for delivery of my 26 G63 but have purchased an Akrapovic exhaust that I intend to install asap. I’ll update here with my thoughts.

Who sells Brabus in US for a 23 year model?

 

One AMG vid clip of a car but not the latest gen G. I'm sure there are exhausts out there that sound loud, crackle, pop on decel and have a loud throaty noise at WOT. The G is all about the V8 engine people need to show it off more. Like a neighborhood bicycle would say, "If you've got it, flaunt it!".

 

… and that is why I want to hop it up with a Brabus but they are too damn expensive for me right now 🤩

 

my guy says you really need a cat delete (which requires a tune) to increase the volume by much. Brabus are the only place that I can find that has a new w465 tune.

Ok so just installed the Akra exhaust on my ‘26 G63. It sounds….fine, I guess? It seems hardly any louder than the stock exhaust, and frankly may even be quieter (especially in comfort mode with valves closed). The characteristic “burble” or thumping grumble of the stock exhaust has been replaced by a more consistent, typical V8 sound. I’ve only driven a few miles, but unless it improves significantly over time, I’d say its definitely not worth the $10K price tag.

 

Could it be how exhaust note is muted in 24+ models? Heard a fiends 23 G63 a few months ago and it was noticeably different .

 

Is that the one with three pipes for the G? I've seen it and heard it and its pretty insane.
