G-Wagon At MSRP (where?)
Go to leasehacker and there’s a few brokers offering G63 for MSRP plus the broker fee which is usually $1-2k with about a year wait.
I haven’t used them personally so do research but that’s one option.
Otherwise do what I did in 2020–call every dealer in your state to ask. A lot more are doing msrp for ordered cars but smaller ADMs for cars you can buy today. Put deposits down at dealers that seem trustworthy. At one time I had over $10k in deposits out lol. Once you have one it’s much easier to get another down the road.

This is really helpful and timely. I am actually thinking of getting on the list for a 2027... I spoke to my dealership and she seemed to think it could be at MSRP, but I will have to see. I know one dealer in Rhode Island does not do above MSRP, but you have to wait likely a year or more (which is fine). This time I will likely try a G63 AMG - not yet sure about trading the G550, as still considering that build. I am going to talk to them after next week when I get back from the UK in a couple weeks.
What I did for a G63, since everywhere around me was charging 25k. Even the dealers the person that I eventually contacted owns, which his family own 4-5 MB dealerships either did not get back to me, or was charging a mark up. I messaged the owner on Facebook. He actually responded and went to one of his dealerships to ask. At first he said they only sell it for market price. A month later, the GM called me and told me he can get me an allocation for MSRP because the owner asked him too! And that allocation was for 4 months away! I waited 5 months for mine.
Almost a year later, I still can't believe it.

I just spoke to the general manager at my dealership in MA and he wants me to come on Saturday and take a look at my current 2025 G550 (for trade) and talk to me about ordering a 2027 G63 AMG. I worked with him back when I ordered the 2025 and he seems to want to keep me as a client. I know they have a couple G63s in stock there, so I really would like to drive one - even just a mile or so - to see what I think. I may actually not be into it, so before I negotiate too much, I want to make sure it's the right choice. He did tell me that he wants to try to get the order at or slightly above MSRP, in which I told him - no, it will be MSRP or I have another dealer in NH offering MSRP. He said, oh ok, then likely MSRP. He wants me to go in and talk, which I appreciate, so I will do that this coming Saturday and keep you all posted.

I need to review the builds when I go because there are still some things I am not sure about - like 22" rims, et. I will keep you posted if I am able to negotiate to MSRP.... I also will want to drive it before making a decision. The dealership has a couple in stock, so that should not be a problem. I will keep you posted!
Based on what others have told me trading in 2025 G550's even last year ($20k+ depreciation from sticker), I'd mentally expect a lower offer for the G550.
Heck even 1 year old G63's are carrying $5-10k depreciation now although they still retail over sticker used.

Hi everyone. I went to the MB dealership today and test drove a G63 AMG and was really happy with the performance and feel. They offered me a G63 AMG allocation at MSRP as long as I trade in my G550 to them when the G63 AMG arrives. So, I went ahead and ordered one and paid a deposit. Here is my build (I know it's not for everyone, but it's what I want):
The one I test drove they just got in for sale and it's my EXACT outside build (paint, Night Package Plus, and wheels), but was not my interior choice and they had it above MSRP. But, it was great to confirm the exterior build seeing it in person - almost like it was meant to be.
Thank you all for your help!
- 2027 G63W4 (build date TBD soon - they said likely early-Fall 2026 delivery)
- Code 124: MANUFAKTUR Arabian Grey Non-Metallic
- Code 927: MANUFAKTUR Bengal Red / Black Leather
- Code DD4: MANUFAKTUR Interior Package
- Code DE9: Night Package Plus
- Code RG4: 22" AMG Cross-Spoke Wheels (Matte Black)
- Code 21U: Dash Cam
- Code D68: Illuminated Star

Thank you! That's an excellent question and one that I have pondered a lot over the past 6 months. I took delivery of my G550 in May 2025 and it was my first G Wagon, so I wanted to see how I liked it and spend some time in it and determine if it was the right vehicle to build up versus my 200-series Land Cruiser. I did put all-terrain tires on it and used it on forest and dirt roads, fishing, and hunting. The off-roading trails here in New England are just not my preference, as they are not like what I used to do when I lived out west. So, overall, I love the platform of the G Wagon, but as far as building it up a bit more significant for overlanding/camping inside, my 200-series Land Cruiser is just better all around, so I am focusing my efforts on that build. With that said, I was still planning to likely do a roof rack/ladder (useful for supplies and such), Le Tech spare tire carrier (for a full-sized spare), and lockable cargo drawer system (supplies and firearms). Now as I approach a year of ownership, I still love it, but with how my build will change a bit, and the fit for purpose (dirt roads, hunting, fishing) I want with a G Wagon, I think I'd like to try the G63 AMG while I can still trade in my G550 at a decent price and I really loved driving it - even though it was for a short distance, the performance was really fun. I do really like the inline 6 of the G550, but honestly I really love a V8 and would like to give the AMG a try because it will fit my needs now that I have figured out my builds. That may not make sense, but I wanted to answer that question the best I could.

My experience in 2025 shopping for a 2026 G63 with the markups:
NY: Dealership in White Plain went down to 20K while the dealership in Long Island stayed at 30K as their manager told them don't go lower than 30K, started at 35K
NJ/PA: PA mostly starts at 30K, some dealership will tell you 35K - 40K but mostly the lowest they were wiling to go was 30K. NJ is also the same, but with one dealership having a 60K markup (insanity)
VA/MD: Slightly lower markups, maybe around 25K, if you have some good relationship with dealership you can go lower to 20K or even 15K.
A dealership in NC does no markups, but I haven't heard back from him with any updates since Oct. 2025.
