2027 G Allocations
I know it is early in 2026 but another model year is coming soon, and this allocation thread is where we can start the discussion when we star getting information and they start arriving.
I am finally getting a 2027, and if they introduce the new battery technology from their partnership with Sila Nanotechnologies, I may go with that model since my wife, who will be the primary user, wants to try an electric version. However, if not,. we will order a G63. It appears I will use the same dealer here in Florida that I ordered the 2020 G550 we had in the past, since I was told I will be offered one for sure. Before I confirmed I would get an allocation from that dealer, I talked to a couple of other dealers in my area in case I could not secure an allocation, and one told me "Per my new-car manager Mercedes-Benz is considering changing the methodology of how they allocate these G-class vehicles." I am not sure how the process could change, but if I learn more, I will post here, and if anyone else hears the same, let us all know.

Good to know. We are getting one but we want delivery after the 1st of the new year, which are told will be no problem. I wonder if there are any changes for 2027? I am still hoping the new battery tech from Sila will make it to the G580, but I am not holding my watts.
Good info thanks. As many G's as I bought, you'd think the dealers here would give me info but every time I have to hear it from the forum first lol.

Bump. Thanks, @Bob Z. .
This is a great idea. I'm not anticipating any significant changes for the G-Class until the 2029 model when it celebrates its 50th anniversary. Until then, Mercedes will likely focus on the cabriolet and the "mini-G".

I posted on the other thread, but same news from my dealership in MA.... She was going to get in touch with me as soon as 2027 allocation comes..... I am thinking about a 2027 G63 AMG this time.
I had 900 miles on my 2025 at the time of trade-in for 2026.
Owned 2025 for 7 months...
Upgraded to 2026 for small options that were available plus the exterior color.
For sure G got expensive, 2025 $220k vs 2026 $333k..

Talked with my dealer today and submitted my order for a 27. Rumored build date is 04/30, will see. Interestingly, I am waiting on another 26 that has an 03/23 build date.
Attaching the DOG, will be in 2 posts due to size.
