2026 G63 - Both headlights fogging up after shutting off at night - anyone else?

Just picked up a 2026 G63, sitting at 80 miles.

Every night after I park and turn it off, I come around and both headlights have condensation inside. Both sides every single time. By morning it's totally gone ,perfectly clear.

Only happens at night. Never seen it during the day. I'm in NYC so it's been cold at night, around 29 degrees lately.

What's weird is I had a 2021 G63 before this and had a condensation problem too, One headlight only, never went away, dealer replaced the whole unit under warranty.

This feels different since it clears on its own. But it's brand new. should I already be at the dealer making noise. Anyone on the W465 (2026) seeing the same thing? I just happen to notice it by accident, but how many of you actually look at the front of your car 10 minutes after you turn it off when the headlights were on?

Poor thing looks like it is crying 😭
To answer your question, fogging up is common in most mb models but it is not a complaint for the G, I hope it is not a bad seal but it does not seem excessive to suggest a bad seal.

I hear you. I just messaged my sales rep. I got the car last week. I know they will end up fixing it, but the only thing I dread is that if they change the headlights, the headlight beam alignment will never be the same as the factory. That happened on my 21 and mb Manhattan never aligned the headlight correctly and one was pointing to the ground. I tried aiming my headlights against the wall and following YouTube videos. but could never find a flat surface and get it right.

Hi,
Was there a big temperature swing that may have caused condensation? I would look closely after the fogginess clears to see if you can spot any physical water drops inside the lens. By the way...LOVE the color! what is it?

Typical NYC weather nothing drastic in the last few days. i have a feeling its related to either of these bulletins. ill check closely again the lens to see if any water drops, but when i checked this morning it was perfectly clear.
