The last one
Yesterday I went to a mercedes dealer in scottsdale,az looking to see if they had any g55 in the showroom. They didnt have any and I was told I could only get a used one because they stopped making them.They had a 03 g500 so I decided to look at that. The dealer went to go get the keys and when he returned he told me if I want the g55 there is one more available being built, considered the last one. It is designo black diamond and I got it at msrp.

There will be a G500/55 for model year 2006, and they will all be called Grand Editions. They will make these until December 2005 but that's the rumor.

I have papers that tell me its a grand edition buddy. It has special colors and everything. It will come will a plate and the whole works.

Dude, you said that the dealer told you they stopped making them, then all of a sudden they have one more availble. And you trust them? They haven't stopped making them yet. They are still making the G500 as well. What part of this didn't make sense to you? Sorry I hurt your feelings.

They are stopping production of the G. They had one available because the guy didn't put money down on the order they had and I did. How many limited grand editions do you think they will make, it is almost impossible to order one now.
