12.74 @ 105.77mph!!!!!
.........This was my best time at the Atlanta meet this past weekend. I was posting the previous times as a build up to this. Just to put in perspective, this is faster than stock M5, E63, CLS63, stock C6 vette, all the mustangs, SLK55, CLK55, CLK63 and many stock W211 E55's. I think this tank ia capable of low 12's. I will post all the time slips this pm.

The times range from 12.23 to 12.76. Notice the times to 1/8 range from 8.0 to 8.4. My 1/8 time was 7.9, meaning it will beat all the M5's listed from 0-60 all the way past 1/8.
..............As far as trapspeed. You may have forgetten that trapspeed is relative to weight of the car. 105.77mph is much more impressive for a car that weighs 5800lbs than trapspeed of 115 for a car that weighs 3800lb. Visit this website to see what I mean. http://www.race-cars.net/calculators/et_calculator.html
.........As far as other cars listed you wish to name one other than possibly the W211 E55 and C6 vette that are faster to 1/4 mile than 12.74.

Are you saying you beat E55k, & C6's that nite or are you saying overall you'll beat them as per your latest track times? Cause if the later of the 2 is the case plenty of stock E55k are in the very low 12.00-12.5 rang as well as C6's....Yes Auto C6's as well A4's & A6's guy just ran 12.30 @ 116 bone stock in C6 A6
Anyhow congrats on great times! even sicker 1/8 mile

.........at the track I ran head to head against an SL55 in a friendly competition. He beat me to 1/4, I beat him to 330. He ran a 12.45 and I ran 12.76 in that run. There was an E63, CLS63, modified and stock E55's, an SLK55, CLK55 that I did not run directly against. I'll let them post their own times. It was a lot of fun.
.........The G55 absolutely blasts off from zero to 330 mark, but it takes it more than 2.2secs to go from 1/8 to the 1/4. This is the major point of weakness for the car. I am not sure that this can be improved due to the arerodynamics of the tank. But it is an area I will concentrate on for next racing season. The car is limited to 130mph, so by 100mph, the computer is shutting the car down. I can feel the car running out of gas by then. If This can be improved, I think this can easily be a 12.1-12.2 sec car.

............my car is definitely not faster than an E55K as a general matter. I stated that my car is faster than some stock E55K's. It is probably faster than most E55K's to the 330 mark because of the 4wheel drive. This is all in fun. A really fast SUV is the Dodge SRT8 with Hennessey Twin turbo that runs 12.2xxx. Because of the creation of of the category sports SUV's like the G55, ML63, the Dodge SRT8 and Cayenne turbo, you can no longer assume that the sports car you are driving won't be left behind by an SUV.

What? Why? Is your G55 limited to 130mph? I thought all AMG's were limited to 155mph, or is this in lieu of special ECU programming from Kleeman to optimize low end power some how? Just a guess

...............Here are the timeslips. Unfortunately, I do not have any videos myself. I think someone on the lexus forum has a video of it. My best 1/8 time was 8.105. Looking through my timeslips, the 7.9 was a timeslip from my E55K S7 mixed in. Still not too shabby.

........Kleemann K4. This car has much more in it. If you look at the last time slip between my car and the SL55. You can see that I beat him to the 330 mark and we were even at the 1/8 mark (8.1 vs 8.05), but at the end of the 1/4 I got 12.76 and I got 12.46. This is were the G55 needs improvement. Cams and larger throtle body are supposed to help mid range acceleration. I already have both, but plan on switching to Vrus's 80mm throtle body which I have ordered. I am sure aerodynamics is a huge factor, but I can't fix that. Other ideas are wellcome.

........already addressed it and pointed out that it was indeed it to 8.1, not 7.9. It does not change the anything as all but one of the 2006 M5's were slower than 8.1 at the 1/8 mark I am unable to edit messages more than 24hrs old. If you know how, do share.

Ted,
That's incredible!
I received my Cayenne Turbo back from EVOMS yesterday. It was in Phoenix for 6 months having the first GT700 kit installed. I put it on an all wheel Dynojet today and it made 560.52 AWHP and 657.69 torque. Dynojets tend to read a bit high especially on the torque side but I was still impressed. My brother has a 996TT and I beat him pretty badly today from a roll.
As a comparison my 2003 Kleemann G55 (Kleemann supercharger, headers, ECU, and exhaust) made 384.79 awhp and 399.6 torque on this same dyno. I know that your '05 is much stronger than my '03. How much power do you think that you're making?
Congratulations on an incredible run! It's hard to believe that a tank like the G can run in the 12's. How are you launching?

......... I use the break-torque method to launch and on one occassion I locked the differential. I don't know if the Cayenne has locking diffs. The NA G55 with Kleemann s/c is not in the same league as the 05 G55. As you may remember, I have had both.
..........your Cayenne sounds incredible. Congratulations!
