The G55 AMG is coming to the USA!
ugly and fast!
Ugly? You need to put on your glasses.
John, you should drop your order on the 2003 C32 and pick up a G55 AMG. Might be fun to compliment the S600 with a nice, large SUV. Having driven a 2001 G55 in Europe, I can tell you it's a lot of fun...and the sound that comes out of those quad exhaust pipes is truely evil! I drove a 2-door convertible, but I've also driven a 99 long wheel base and it was fun as well.

I've attached another picture which I grabbed from that site.
If you guys dislike them so much, why do you hang around here? Pen*s Envy? Or do you just like to troll?
Keep in mind that most G's are still new here. Some are old (like mine and other peoples), but we have struggled through many problems with G Wagens, to learn how to get them fixed. You can add to the fact that they are costly to maintain and the people servicing them don't know how to service them.
I hope the G55 is a more solid car and not a quick thrown together AMG. I have a feeling it will be solid, but its just a feeling. We shall see!
I have no doubt that the 2003 G55 will be a solid, reliable vehicle built on the experience of many years of tuning the G-class at AMG.

The G55 AMG (not G55L) is on sale now for $90k with no options. The G55L is not sold in the US and is only available by special order from AMG in Europe.

If anyone wants to bid on it and would like me to inspect it, I live about 20 minutes away from the dealer.
