My G55 is no more

I crashed into the barrier at about 40 mph, hit another car and then flipped. Here are the pics. The weird thing is that the Head Curtain Airbags didnt deploy, or does it not have it?

Glad to hear you are OK ... pre-2005 only had front air bags. Unless the badging fell off, yours looks to be a non-Kompressor, so pre-2005?

P.S. Side air bags is the reason I would only buy a 2005 or newer

AMAZING how the car held up! The actual passenger area is totally intact! Do you have an interior shots? I mean - except for a few bruises - that area is just Totally untouched!
The front is where it really got the hit - but rolling over did literally nothing to the body!

Doesn't look like a roll-over to me.

By the way, ML63 forum is still waiting for you to post some pics...

He was in the middle of an intense bench racing session and lost concentration.

He said the car "flipped", doesn't mean it rolled over on its back! It simply ended up on its side, as can be seen from the damage in the pictures.

We all know that SUVs have high center of gravity, so when it rolls over on its back, the "high" becomes the "low" and it would require significant force to roll it back over. However, ending up on the side is more common in SUVs.

I rolled my 400E going 45mph, it can happen. Lost my rear end on a corner, wet leaves, and there was a pile of gravel on the side of the road that caught my wheels and flipped me on my roof. Very odd feeling. My car was lowered too, so I can imagine it would be possible in a top heavy G.

LOL, I don't have too many pics of the G-wagen and G-spyder together but I'll try.

Full albums are at:

G-wagen: http://www.talklambo.com/pics/showgallery.php/cat/521
Kleemann upgrades: http://www.talklambo.com/pics/showgallery.php/cat/533
G-spyder: http://www.talklambo.com/pics/showgallery.php/cat/517

Of course, there's the new car too.

With a good driver it's pretty quick, 250 hp, 1100 pounds, 2.5g turns. I'm not a good driver yet.

It lives in its trailer that I keep at a storage place; I'm getting one of those four-post lifts for the garage at my new house though so make it easier to work on the car. Since it and the Lambo are so short I could actually store them both that way, just put the Radical up in the air and park the Lambo under it; just need a lift with the catch pan.
