Weird Issue with the G's
OK, my wife told me two G wagons back she had something strange happen... Follow me on this... While turning left into our culdesac the car completely lost ALL POWER. This has happened to her with 2 of our old G Wagons...
Well, the other day I'm driving her 2010 G55, turned left (EXACT SAME SPOT) the G shut off.... Lost all power....
So, I'm going to say maybe a while turning the wheel a wire got crimped and loses power?
But- once you stop, start the car..no issues at all...
So, my last 3 G wagons have done this... Ever experience this?

trust me... I thought she was whacked when she told me this... but it happened to me same spot... It has to be turning the steering wheel certain direction, etc etc crimping a wire??

Do an unusually large number of people in your neighborhood have brain tumors, too? Seriously, this sounds like some sort of environmental oddity. Better take an electro-magnetic field reading this weekend!

I know this isnt a perfect example but one of my buddy's got the first year of the new CTS body style and everytime he'd make a hard left turn to try to make a U-Turn his whole car would turn off. We have those Michigan Turn-Arounds here too, and same thing would happen when he used those. He took it to the dealer because it was only 3 months old and they fixed it. I forgot to ask him what the problem was.

That's Freaky...
We have had 2 G's and nothing of the sort. Is there an unusual grade or incline there? Mine do some funny things going downhill on a winding road. Almost like the steering gets a mind of its own but I think it's the accident avoidance system (ESP). Were they all 55's?

Yes, all 55's and it's flat... Trust me..if it didn't happen to me I would not believe it.
