New G-Wagen to be unveiled in Paris, September 2010
Looks like both the standard G and AMG version will be getting different variants of the new Mercedes 5.5 twin turbo V8 with the G55 becoming the G63 with an output between 547 to 571 HP

lots of conflicting info on the 2011 g class. I saw a copy of a document at my MB dealer from MB USA stating the only changes to the 2011 g55 are the lack of lamp guards and turn signal guards.

I just ordered one a few days ago and very minor changes. 11' build with 55K engine. This will be one of the first ever deliveries of Gs into Australia since the eighties. Been waiting along time for this.

Will do, won't arrive until April/ May though. It does take 2 months to ship here plus it's going to performance studio for a couple of things.
The Australian defense force recently ordered 1200 or so Gs in different guises which is the reasoning for relaunch.
