CEC Wheels | G55 AMG with 22" C863 wheels, Brembos, and more!
Here's a G55 AMG we built for a customer who will be shipping it back to Haiti.
I originally wasn't a fan of the G-Class' performance and handling but after driving this one with the new suspension, brakes and power kit, this G55 drives like a car. The power kit made a big difference and I can honestly say this G55 is FAST!!!
I am also playing around with using HDR in some images so please let me know what you think of the actual photo a well. Enjoy!

CEC Edition Custom Carbon Fiber Interior Accents and Steering Wheel

I will be posting more pics of the build today.
Thank you. This car is actually on the Brabus Ride Control suspension. You can not get the system from Bilstein directly.
The ride is not bumpy at all. There is more control over the G-Class. I felt that the G55 felt more like a car with the tuning kit and the upgraded suspension. It accelerates very fast and handles like a car and not like an SUV. This ride control made a very big difference in handling as well as ride comfort. This setup made me fall in love with the car. Definitely worth the investment!

That looks great! Can you PM me the price and do you need all the parts to be taken out of the G and sent to you to get this done?

I love the look and mods, sounds like the perfect built, with the exception of wheels/tires!
BIG thanks for the feedback on the Ride-Control! I hope you don't mind me begging for some extra feedback on that "extra cool!!!" mod!!!
When you say the Ride-control makes the G55 feel more like a sports car; is that meaning the truck is stiffer and more responsive? Or more forgiving over bumps; softer in the ride like a limousine?
22" sounds like a retarded wheel/tire size combo for the Carribean!!! Why would anyone subject themselves to haitian roads and low profile tires??? Haiti has some of the most amazing trails!!!! Show you client some more refined "rough-road" tire options! which look "almost" equally cool, and more importantly handle perfect for Haitian roads!
I love products from Bilstein, and the idea of Brabus and Bilstein taking on a G, has to be close to perfection!...performance/handling wise! Please do not misunderstand my "retarded" comment as a personal attack on neither your quality and expertise in G modifications, but rather a warning on how bad roads are in Haiti! Most first time /newb G owner love the 22" look without truly understanding the setbacks.
....At times Haitian roads can be perfect and smooth - inviting you to play with the AMG persona, ...and then out of the blue, you WILL hit a painfully rough pothole...22 looks cool but gonna make more trouble than what they are worth! LA..maybe...Haiti -NO... Squeak, moan...creak!...guaranteed crack sooner or later!
More pics please!!!

The G55 with the ride control is much more forgiving and offers a smoother ride. Its similar to a luxury SUV than an off road SUV. I hope that description helps.
