Anyone know anything about the 2012 release date 55 kompressor or the new 63 TT? Will it be available or not?

Kompressor is gone for good...
G55 TT will be available this Fall (most likely).

It is coming this year for sure,what month exactly is hard to tell (at the moment).
It will be shown in March in Geneva and dealers will get ordering info not long after.

Thanks for your help, its weird that not much coverage from websites on the car its getting a facelift a new engine and might be the last change for the car not much info AMG is doing a good job covering the news. I can put an order now with a deposit but the dealer is not sure what changes so am waiting till I know for sure.

How do you like the carbon fiber interior trim? I love CF trims but am not sure how it suits the G interior

It will arrive in the Fall as a 2013 model. No 2012 for the US based on all the articles I have seen.

Updated (bumpers and interior)G550TT and G63TT are coming this Fall as 2013 models.
G65 is definitely not coming to US.

AMG is old school and prefers traditional wood and leather. Hope this is still an option on the so-called G63s. Anyone know?

Why not?
It's offered in S-Class,both S63 and S65 so why not in the G?

I have carbon fiber trim in my G55, and I think it looks really good. My previous three g-wagons had wood trim of various types.
