G63 AMG low MPG
Just took delivery of my G63 (Designo Graphite on Mystic Red with CF). Love the car but have been getting 8.3MPG over the first 60 miles, anyone else having such low MPG? What is the norm MPG for the G63? (I do not think I will hit the 13MPG average that is on the sticker)

First it's only 60 miles.
If the 8.3 MPG is taken from the instrument cluster indicator then it's cumulative.
It takes into account starting, idling, low speed driving etc.
Take it out on a long highway drive and you should see the MPG move upward.
My G55K stays around 10-12 MPG in city driving but can get up to 17+ on highway.
Window sticker is average, usually a bit bloated.
You don't buy a G63 if you're concerned about fuel economy.

Try not to think about it and be sure to thank the hybrids for averaging out the fuel consumption imbalance. I regularly turn in 8-9mpg with heavy footed city driving in my g55. 18 on a long steady trip is also possible.

I drove my G63 1700 miles on the highway when I bought it and I got like 14 mpg or something.

New G63
Just took delivery of my G63 on Friday, see my post. I have the same color combination of Graphite with Mystic Red and love it. Curious what you mean by yours having CF?
Over the weekend I am up to 100 miles with the same poor mpg you are experiencing but that is to be expected particularly until the engine is reasonably "broken in." And based on all of my former "G's" you can't expect much better. As someone else posted 8mpg around town at best and perhaps 14-15 on a long highway trip is about it.
Nice to know someone with an identical G63 so keep in touch.

@dharrar
I got the piano black steering wheel with carbon fiber interior. What interior did you get?
So far really like the car, had the ESP light go off once when using Distronic but went off after a restart. So far have 600miles and averaging just around 10mpg combined.
