No extra space
Filling in nicely the 19”
Question: i have upgraded to G63 calipers my February 2006 G55k...however now the pedal feel is very spongy (new fluid and bleed several times)
do do you also need to upgrade the master cylinder and booster? No one has ever mentioned that before.

Got all the brake hits from MrFiat in the US
super good service and delivery to the UK within a couple days
David there was super helpful - highly recommend him
Now trying to figure out why the brake pedal feels so spongy (my car is a 2006 G55k) - can only guess because bigger brakes, more fluid, need bigger brake master booster and cylinder (I guess again the G500/63 items from TRW whereas mine is from Lucas and probably smaller)

Cost me roughly $5,500 total for the G63 silver brake kit (front/back), $500 for the front caliper adapters (needed for a G55k) and another $500 shipping to the UK
To this needs to be added the labour...and now in my case a bigger brake booster and master cylinder (from a G63/G65)
MrFiat who was super helpful: David actually, can be reached at +1 (678) 637 5103

OK bad news - the booster/pump from G63 doesnt fit G55 !!! so waste of money and still have a "spongy" brake pedal (the throw is quite long - which is no good in case of emergency). Otherwise it brakes well, it will slip on dry if hit hard

would appreciate any suggestions from anyone who has done this upgrade before (my car is a G55kompressor from late 2006)

Did you swap out the brake lines for stainless? Did you do the g63 brakes on all four corners? Or just the front?
I want to do this upgrade as well. Just bought the adapter brackets now just need to source the calipers and rotors etc.
Did Mr Fiat supply the rotors and pads too? Its all OEM?

But again what about the pedal feel?? More pistons, larger calipers...need more oil pressure in the system...how do you cope without loosing pedal feel?
