Forum member killed sunday night in Atlanta...
Rodney Franklin was killed sunday night in sandy springs. He was shot in the head. I have no further info.
I wish I knew his SN, but I don't. Chappy has met me and I am only posting this for those of you that knew rodney.
Chappy, I was going to pm you, but I thought this might be best. I work with rodney at lockheed. I found out today when I got here. If you can post his SN that would be great. Thanks
Rodney, your a good man and a good person, you'll be missed by many.
RIP
Kirk

Very, very tragic news. I had never met Rodney, but my deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Rodney's SN was "krod21". He was a recent forum member, and was planning on attending the big Atlanta meet this Sunday, August 14th, with some friends.
My prayers are with his family and friends.

I send my condolences to the family and friends. No cameras or anything at a club? I hope the murderer will be caught. Maybe at the Atlanta meet, there should be a moment of silence in rememberence of him.

Man, that really sucks for his family.. seems like a random act of violence.. I hope they get the ******* who did it! Brings tears to my eyes to read his posts from only a few days ago.. so, so, sad..
I was just near that area on a trip last week to, stayed on the 8800 block of Roswell Rd.

KROD21 - My Best Friend
On behalf of Rodney's friends, I would like to say thank you for remembering him in this way. Rodney is my dearest friend and has been for so long. We were stationed in VA together and he has been a dear part of my life ever since.
I remember the day Rodney went to Texas to pick up his Benz. That had to be one of the most precious days of his life. He was so happy. I still remember that conversation and how tired he was on the drive back.
But again, a big thank you to all and thanks for keeping his memory alive.

Thanks to all of you. Yesterday was my first time seeing this site and I only logged on after doing a search on the internet for Rodney. Thank God I found it and learned that there are others who cherished him.
