Older ones said Daimler-Benz, newer ones say Mercedes-Benz. I like the stickers too, they confirm that "This ain't no gray-market kit car, this is the real deal."

you're right. it does say a mercedes benz product. but i like the signature which says 'J'? Daimler. sort of like an artist signing the work.

I'm not with my car tonight so I can't go out and see if I did or not ... and even if I was with it ... I have spent a little too much time this evening with my long time friend ... Mr. Daniels (his first name is Jack) ... I really can't remember if I did or not. But I do remember having the service dept. pull a bunch of stickers when I took delivery:

Ashtray

Visors

Door Jams

That's "G. Daimler" for Gottlieb Daimler, one of the founders of Daimler-Benz. Don't know why they didn't use Karl Benz's signature too.

But you can just go into the part's dept. and order a sticker for $0.95 cents and slap it on your gray market car.

just go into the part's dept. and order a sticker for $0.95 cents...
I have seen them on ebay for .50 cents and they advertise them as if it's something very unique and hard to obtain!

While I think it's ugly, I've heard that it keeps value in your car (compared to those who remove it).
