Which Merc to get?
So im thinking about getting a new car, probably a Mercedes. The only issue is that I know almost nothing about mercedes (i come from the vw/audi/porsche world). What im looking for is something that is fast, comfortable, nimble around the corners (doesn't handle like a boat), and looks good both on the inside and outside (looks luxurious as well as fast). Basically a luxury car that will surprise you when you hit the throttle or go around a corner. preferably a four door, but a great looking two door with decent trunk space would work too. Can anyone give me some pointers on where i should start my search? Also I am looking for anything below $17,000 and below 75,000 miles
I have looked at the 190e cosworth and I like the outside, has great handling, but interior is really plain (no real luxury), and its not as good of a cruiser as I would like. Plus I wouldn't mind something a little newer (although don't mind an older car). Basically I want the more luxurious/faster equivalent to the 190e cosworth.
Any advice, help, pictures, stats would really be appreciated!

You might be able to get an 02 or 03, maybe even an 04/05 Mercedes C230, C240....i'm not sure where you are, but i'm assuming US as you said "75k miles".
Try www.autotrader.com as well, but i don't know if there's a sales section on this site.
But look for the C class, it sounds like what you want! There's a lot of people here that can help you with that.
You might be able to get a 97/98 or even a 00 E320 as well, but i'd suggest the newer C-class.

You can probably get into a 2002 E55 for around 17k considering the crap economy. That is one sick car that will surely become a classic. If you prefer somthing newer, you might find a 2003/2004 E320 for you price range.

Where are you located? What type of driving are you using it for? Do you have a family? For $17,000 I would say get a 2002 E320, E430 or E55 AMG. Or as for a coupe get a 2002-2004 CLK 320. You could find a nice S430 or early S500 or even go with a 2 year old C230 or C320

Ya i probably wouldn't be getting a convertible, in my own opinion you have to do a lot to the convertible hard tops to make them look manly... a little too hard to pull off in my opinion, although very good cars!
