I saw one in Sept. at Luray Caverns it was parked next to a 190 SL, I was driving my brother C280 Sport I have pics of them, I scan and post them if people want.

As for the 300SL, I don't think they sell for as much as you would think. I think some have sold recently for less than $300,000. That seems low to me for a car like that.

There were a few different versions of the C111, the first was in 1969 and had fitted a 3 cylinder rotary engine. Then in 1970 the four cylinder 400bhp rotary came in a new slightly larger body style. In 1976 it came with a much more rounded body style and fitted with the turbo-deisel engine where it set some speed records.
