To test it, set your wipers to position I and spray some water on the sensor.

rain sensor
There is a place, square for sensor, but there is no sensor, I see only the light sensor and another one (I don't know what is for). When I put my wipers on I position, wipers are swiping ones on every 5-10 seconds without spraying. So ... there is not one, I guess. Another thing, I have outside air temp. 85 C, I guess I'm missing that sensor too, as I have read on another thread. There is no sensor on front bumper. I don't know if I have the wire too, to buy just sensor.
I bought this car, and it is amazing, but there are few things I'm missing, that is why I wanted to know history of the car.
It has 180 000 km passed, I wanted to know if this is true. There is a service book, but it is written until the 100 000 km.
How can I know with which additional equipment is going this car?

Well then maybe the Rain Sensor meant Light Sensor here, it wasn't a standard option on W203 C-Classes. Here's something i found about retrofitting a rain sensor: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w203...n-c-class.html

For service records you can contact your dealer and ask them to give you service history, but they're usually not very cooperative in this matter.
Well the datacard shows the options fitted to the car when it left the factory, anything else that is added by owners is not reflected in the datacard.
