M3 Lover!!!! PICS

Ok guys, before you shoot me or give me your opinions, I own a 1996 C36 and 2002 M3 so I am a fan of BMW and MBZ.

But I have to admit, when I look at the C32 and M3 (modified), you just cant compare against each other.

Attached is NOT my M3, my M3 is stock (at this time) but seeing so many modified M3s, I am force to modify this summer, because they just look so awesome with aftermarket parts (like the pics below).

I'm so glad I did not buy a C32 AMG. IMO - No matter what you do to a C32 AMG or even a C36 AMG, it just doesnt look as aggressive as an M3.

Do you guys agree?

I'm looking at both cars right now (C32 & E46 M3) and I drive an E36 M3 so I love BMW's, I never even thought I would think about the dark side but the M3s look very aggressive stock and even more aggressive with a little bit of aesthetic mods...that being said however, the C32s are a different breed of Beast...the Kompressor takes favorably to mods and 400hp is easily achievable so I can't stand that the M3 would be punished by a modded C32 where as a modded M3 would take an exponential amount of money to get anywhere close to the C32...it just comes down to personal preference but the M3 is maxed out performance wise (at least for those without very deep pockets)...have fun with the M, they are great cars...

It's a toss-up really. For me, I like the C32 looks better because there aren't so damn many on the road, and it looks bigger. Something about the BMW 3x just reminds me of Civics all the time. Maybe it's because they're so small.

Btw, in the pics, those aren't really fair comparisons. The M3 has that lower lip, the eyebrow thingy, and if I'm not mistaken, a custom exhaust. The MB pics are not C32's and have no bi-xenons. And all except the last one has a bodykit on.

Oggle: I agree it is a toss-up (personal preference). I couldnt find a C32 AMG (modified) to compare the mod M3. But even with the AMG kit, the M3 just looks for aggressive because of the flared body (regular 3 series do not have flared body, so they look more like honda civics, not the M3s). And I agree with KiotikM3 - M cars are fun to drive.

Anyway, I threw in these pics...thought you guys will enjoy a mod wagon and modded SL55 as well.

Yes the thing I like most about the M3 is the flared wheel wells.

Hey JamE55,

If you know Tedster, tell him his car is one of the nicest M3 setup Ive seen so far. Im sure he has more mods, but as far as exterior goes, very nice (simple but yet so aggressive). I especially like the way he has his HRE painted in gunmetal.

But just to be different, I'll probably go with 19" Fikse rims (9" front, 10" rear), and use H&R coilovers and ACS lip spoiler for starter. I saw the Fikse's (3pc. polished Mesh type - reverse lip) on my buddy's TwinTurbo Porsche, they look very nice! 2" lip in the front, 3" lip in the back. Not sure if they can do the same for my M3, if they can, definitely my first choice.

Do you have a pic of TJ's M3? Because I cant picture TJs M3 to look any better than Tedster. No flaming, but I just hope he does not have the giant ring wing. I personally dislike that look. Too big for such a compact car (IMO).

Don't know him personally but i've seen his car around and it looks good. Also if i'm not mistaken i believe he's also using a set of KW2 coilovers suspension. If you want to see TJ's setup just click on my sig below and look for an M3 with a set of HRE 840R's!

Thanks Pinoy...ill try to see if I can reach Tedster there.

JamE55, TJ's car is sweet, but personally, I still prefer Tedster's ride. Tedster has the aggressive setup (which I like) - must be his 540r wheels, while on the otherhand, (IMO) TJ has a car show setup - 840s without rivets (to conservative), yes, even with the Brembos. But again I can be wrong, pictures never do justice.

I like them both, Mercedes are not meant to look aggressive anyways, they were design to be classy, elegent...

A friend of mine just bought an M3 (lucky him). I can only drool I guess and hope that one day I'll make enough $$$ to afford one too (though I would probably buy something else..)

His is silver grey or something. I can't wait to see it. Also I wanna drive it :p hehe... once in a lifetime chance to drive a 333hp car!
