Exactly! Have some fun! Don't take yourselves so serioulsly.

I think it's cool to have a thread still one of the top hot topics for months now AND WITH NO PICS to attract! 30 pages...I wonder what the longest thread has been in history of this website? Not counting the official Gallary pics.

Time To Change Topics...

Okay, I'm going to attempt to change the course of this thread yet again. Since it's gone off on many-ah-tangents!

Who knows what year MB will be changing the look of the E and/or C classes? I hear it's done every 7 years or so. Is this true?

I'm concerned if I wait for the E55, it may look completely different...so much so that I don't like it. For example, that new MB (I don't remember the model) doesn't look that great to me. I've heard others that really like it but if you notice the front lights, they have a hint of Mr. Bangles infamous BMW 5 series and the windows look very small, like the doors are way too big.

Just my two cents.

usually MB freshens their cars after 2 years. my guess is for 05
the E class will be slightly upgraded. the C is being updated this fall or spring?

Thanks S55inPA!

I hope the new E doesn't take on the CLS look. Some like the new look but I just havn't gotten used to it I guess.

Ironically, the profile of the new CLS reminds me of the upcoming '06 Lexus GS430 with subtle changes.

Lexus following Mercedes, then Mercedes and Lexus designs starting to morph together?

hey guys,

rumatrix...they do have a similiar profile.
both have a high belt line.
i still don't get the 4 door coupe thing.
lexus imho is lost. without their suv's they have a
very bland product line. they need to spice it up a bit.
if they can't manufacture an attractive auto they should
at least put some savage HP under the hood.

nickerz...the one thing i like about the CLS is the front
head lights. i think that is the best styling cue on the
car. i'm not to keen on the sloping truck line. i like the
overall size but i would have been happier if MB just made
a two door E class.

OH MY GOSH! You're right. Those two links make this car look almost identicle. How crazy is that? It's hard to believe that two different people actually came up with the design.

Again, I don't like the looks of that CLS at all. If the E even comes close to looking like that I will run from MB...run very fast. Please, oh please don't remake the E like that!

What do you think? Diesel MB?

The 2005 E320 CDI

It's more powerful but they say that it wouldn't pass US emissions.

So if they made an E55 Diesel, would it be even faster? Hmmmm?

My God, there are just too many sweet cars in MBZ line up. I hope to be filthy rich after school.

Just a short list I want.

-Maybach 57
-CL65 AMG
-SLR Mclaren

Ahhhhhhh, So many choices for the Mercedes Enthusiast.

Why stop at the Maybach 57. Dream harder for the Maybach 62 since your're going to be chaeuffered around in it anyways.

It really amazes me how some members on these forums class the Lexus as a glorified Toyota, whilst ****ting on about the Maybach and how good it is. Maybach is a tarted up Mercedes, and a really expensive tart at that. I would spend my money on an S-600 over a Maybach anyday.
