Thumbs down Must read --> Ripped off by Vlad from fourbyfourclub.com

Guys,

I have received disappointing and terrible service from fourbyfourclub.com, I was recommended to use them for parts purchase for my G55.

Quite simple these guys will ignore you, provide you lies and then stop responding altogether.

I paid them via paypal and believed their stories. Now they will not refund me my money nor supply me the part I paid for. In total they received $1500 for a whole bunch of parts so one would assume they would respect their clients however nearly 1 year later the item still missing is only $200 worth, so its not the value of the item but a clear indication of rip-off artists in play. I have been stung in past buying from overseas merchants so this post is a warning to be careful do not trust them.

History of events with email trail is listed below, they don't respond to any emails. I have placed a formal complaint with paypal and will continue to pursue them.

Please share this post on other forums, we need to work together to protect each other form this thief.

Ripped off twice by Vlad of Four by Four Club ( aka fourbyfourclub ). After the first incident I had thought I would give him a second chance even though I had heard the rumors.

After the second incident I will never deal with his business again - and I advise that you don't either.

I am also a victim of Fourbyfourclub. Vlad was very quick to respond to emails regarding to any questions but as soon as I made a payment he would stop responding all together with any emails. When I called him he claimed that he has sent me several emails regarding to the shipment being stuck at Germany (same excuse he used for everyone). When I asked him to cancel the order and ask for a refund he just hung up and blocked my number.

I have opened a dispute on paypal and hopefully it gets resolved.

DO NOT TRUST VLAD from Fourbyfourclub.com he's a fraud and a liar.
Please see my update below:

Update:

I just received a full refund from Vlad over Paypal.

After some email exchanges Vlad explained that he had sent two emails to me regarding the delay in shipment. I've never received those emails and I've double-checked my inboxes. However, a lot of people have spoken to me about doing good business with the vendor and Vlad is very knowledgable in G wagons. Vlad himself explained he's been in the business for fourty years and I doubt any good business would fuss over a hundred dollars.

To anyone who's ordering from fourbyfourclub, looks like its ran by just one staff and things could get overwhelmed especially during these strange times, and fourbyfourclubs carries the largest selection of inventory in G wagon parts in the US so shouldn't expect Amazon service.

This is just my personal experience. Hope you guys have it differently and enjoy good business.

Cheers

Just joined the ripped off by fourbyfour club..club

Purchased a fan shroud caution sticker from them for a 2003 model. In trying to keep things as original as possible, I saw they advertised the nearly impossible to find red sticker "guaranteed authentic". Price was $8.58 plus $9.25 shipping. After forking out over $17.00 for the item, I finally received my package which contained a current yellow sticker that I could have simply purchased anywhere for half of what I paid. Seriously upset that they intentionally advertise the older red sticker with no part number. Return policy is 20% restocking fee and no shipping so I would get back $6.86 out of $17.83. Anyways, if anyone needs a new yellow fan caution sticker I'll mail it to you for free rather than send it back to this weasel.

I've asked him for part number of an item before he refuses to give it and gave an unsavory reply. You can find pretty much every part number on these sites.

MB-Classic part (classicparts@mbusa.com) actually have pretty good prices than with 4x4club and I encourage everyone to do so. 4x4club is trying very hard to kill his own business.

I really wish I had looked up reviews before purchasing. Besides the emails listed in this thread, I cannot for the life of me find any contact info for the fourbyfourclub. Haven't received any confirmation the parts have been shipped. Anyone has an email that works (doesn't get pushed back) please let me know.

same as above. I wished i had done more research before. Do not use, they are not reliable and do not own up to their mistakes.
Being called a retard and a jerk by Vlad is also part of the customer experience, buyer beware ( happy to share more details on IM).
I ended up escalating to paypal.
