What tires are best for GL450 in AZ?

MB GL450
What tires are best for GL450 in AZ?
I have a 2011 GL450 with 20" rims. I have 275-50-20 Goodyear factory RF tires on the car now. I need to replace and was looking at a 265-50-20 tires. I live in AZ, so I need a longer lasting summer tire. The Goodyears wear out at 15k to 20k in the heat. Should I switch to a 265 or a 285 as the tires that I am looking at only come in 265 or 285. How will those sizes affect my ride?

Will a 265 tire versus a 275 or 285 have any significant impact on handling or gas mileage?

assuming u have factory wheels, going with 265 will reduce overall diameter by 1.3% and going with 285 will increase overall diameter by 1.3%. either way, ur speedometer will be slightly off.

in general, wider tire will have more grip/handling and narrower tire will have better gas mileage...
