I thought the ML's were built in Arizona?

Only the ML's are built there, I beleive the C230k is built in Brazil or some other South American country.

c230k, black, auto, c2 (let the sunshine in), Bose, leather, and CD
c230ks are only built in Germany. The sedan is built in Brazil. What is built in AL, I thought that is were the MLs were built?

Actually, I thought it WAS the C Coupes that (some) were being built in Brazil (but I could be wrong). I know my sedan was built in Germany.

So where are the MLs built?? Is it GA, AZ, or AL??

Naahh, what I heard was that they were building a plant in Afganistan, they needed to replace the very lucrative Poppy farming with something that was almost as profitable such as the prices paid for MB products! (QC will really go up now!)

Afghanistan cave rumor is correct! Positive import substitution.

Next target country will be Albania, less transportation costs & closer to headquarters.

2002 C230 K
C class construction locations:

Sedans: Germany (Sindelfingen), Brazil (Juiz de Fora; 7000 C-classes were produced here in 2001, 2.5% of the 281,600 C-classe sedans produced - my guess is most of these never leave the South/Central American market and we'll likely see very few of the Brazillian cars in the US) and South Africa (East London, right-hand drive versions for England, Austraila, South Africa, etc.)
Coupes: all in Germany (Sindelfingen, 59,000 sold in 2001)
Wagon: Germany (pretty sure from Sindelfingen, 52,600 sold in 2001)

BT

PS: DaimlerChrysler has an electronics factory in Huntsville AL, which is maybe why some thought the ML plant was there.
