20's c250 gas mileage plummets
I finally got the 20s on my 2012 c250 and it looks so nice. Before my gas mileage was so good like 25 to 30 a gallon now thatt i put the rims i swear its like 15! I literally watch the gas gauge drop as i drive! A 45 minute drive takes a notch out of the guage before i drove like 2 weeks on a tank and i have a heavy foot! Anyways has anyone had this happen or knows what exactly wats going on.. i called the dealership service to reflash the computer to compensate for the bigger wheels he said they cant or wont due to warranty i said i dont care about the warranty that the car looks soooo good with the rims i cant go back he told me i would need an aftermarket reflash computer and he didnt know of anyone specific im in miami fyi and i dont mind spending the money to have a professional reputable technician do the work can u give me advice or point me to someone i forget to check this soo if you email me i will give you many thanks kylemcweeny08@gmail.com thank you

Wondering if the differnent tire weight would confuse a VSS type sensor?

Big heavy wheels will eat brakes up faster, decreased accelration, its recprocating mass. All come at a price.
If you like the way it looks then leave it and enjoy no free lunch.

The blue stuff is the painters tape i put to protect my new beautiful 20 inch amg replicas from the permanent tire shine which is like a form of paint but for tires... i donno.. i figured it was worth a try..

So far the tires are staying glossy! I drove on gravel because my proffesion is construction related and i think it might have grinded away where the tires actually make contact with stuff... but the side walls are still glossy black looks like a freshly tire shined car but i only applied it once so far its been about 2 weeks ill let u know how it goes... www.permagloss.net ..

Yeah the stang! Its a v6 stick shift widened 6 inches and lowered 2 convertible with a steeda front lip some side skirts that i found 4 pack of 6 an 7 k hids got racing seats and a quick release steering wheel double din touchscreenTearing it apart now that its not my daily.. i stripped the a,c put a a,c delete pulley and took out power steering pump (jumped the supply to the return and added a breather and a resevoir) once i take it down from the jack stands and drive it with the new setup ill run it empty of gas fill it up with premium install my new throttle body that goes nicely with my existing cold air intake headers and full custom exhaust then plug in my new sct bama live wire ts custom tuner which comes with free tunes for life 700 bucks with led live feed screen good for a wideband air/fuel guage while i continue to build up to the ultimate goal is a weight reducted no technology raw horsepower twin parallel turbo locked differential with 272 gears 8 pounds on factory internal mustang for as long as it holds up...sorry im excited!

Been looking for a clean stock 4 eyed fox body on off for awhile everything I see is thrashed. If you come across something let me know my consider one a lil newer. Last one got stolen yrs ago that was a great car beat on em all day that 302 would never break.
Keep me from buying another Corvette and hating my life lol

Haha y corvettes are cool too! ...lol i thrash on my mustang i take it to seven grand every gear for no reason then just to be obnoxious.. now with the turbos ill be more lenient.. im not really a buy and sell kinda guy cars have always been kinda a blessing for me they just fall on my lap and all the peices come together perfectly... as long as the foxs body is straight and true and it has the majority of parts ..thats the best your gonna get for a reasonable price... my mustang was bone stock wen i got it clear coat was neglected... i polished it and worked on it ...brang it to life into the creation u see today ...it takes time vision money and commitment to see it to the end if theres a will theres a way if u can dream it you already obtained it now just make it a reality success is wen opportunity meets preparedness... good luck keep me posted..
