Mercedes' New Look . . .
I saw a picture of a facelifted 2005-2006 SL, I've seen the SLR 
and now with the new SLK, i notice that the uge tri star purging its way down from the end of the hood and into the grille is making it's way through many of the models.
The ONLY time i've ever liked that huge tri-star is on the 107 SL's.
mercedes has always been a, not exaclty conservative, but i want to say a laid back design, this huge star seems so in your face, not typical of MB.
How does everyone else feel about this?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then it's designed to make the Mercedes road cars look more like Formula 1 cars, with a thin fuselage... i personally don't think it works that well on road cars.
