I'm trying to find a stealth or hidden hitch for my 2019 E450 wagon. The purpose is for a 2 bicycle rack, i.e., 1 1/4 ", low weight, no towing. Major outlets (e.g., Etrailer, Curt, UHaul) only list for E400. Are they similar enough to just install an E400 hitch? Major outlets tech assistance have been anything but helpful.
I have a Stealth Hitch Installed on my E300 w213 Sedan. It requires taking out the Rear Tail lights and Rear bumper. Not many special tools or skills are needed as I did it all myself in about 4 hours. The windguard under the rear bumper is the only think that needed to be cut so the hitch receiver can stick out and be accessed from the bottom. Only complain is when I have a heavy load on my car, I risk scraping my hitch on curbs or driveways which ive already done a couple of times. I am looking into lifted suspension setups like airbags or stiffer springs.
Does anyone have any closer pictures of the towing hitch to the rear bumper diffuser area. I don't have a diffuser yet but might not get one if a lot of trimming is necessary to fit. Picture for attention

Hi,
I have a 2023 E53 coming in . . . eventually. It's sitting in Baltimore waiting for pricing on the AMG E-class to be finalized.
I REALLY need a bumper hitch on the car. I know Stealth doesn't offer one for the 22 & 23 MY. Does anyone know if the Stealth hitch for a 2020 E53 Coupe will fit? I'm trying to find the rear frame dimensions for both cars to see I can figure out if it will but I'm not having any luck so far. Someone on the forum said they installed on on a new E450 wagon. Unfortunately I don't know if the rear frame has the same dimensions and I'd hate to drop $1500 on a hitch and labor just to find out it won't fit.
I know the new E-Class has "One Time use" panels that have to be removed in order to install the hitch but I've heard that if you remove them very carefully they can be re-used (as long as you don't break the mounting tabs). So I know I won't be taking it to my Mercedes dealer for the work.

Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks,
2023 E53 Coupe. It's been priced. Now it's waiting for transportation to the dealer. So I may actually get it before January.
FINALLY!!! I waited over a year for this thing. I really hope it lives up to its rep.
