I'd be more concerned with abuse and wear and tear of my $365,000.00 automobile.

where are you located? i think your location might dictate somewhat of a demand. for example, you might get more inquiries for a maybach rental in nyc or CA versus north dakota.

4 wheeled car.
I would be the chauffeur if I were to rent it out. But in all honesty, if you can afford a Maybach, why would you need to rent it out?

good point, but generally i dont see why there wouldn't be a market for it; its more unique than a standard limo

I would be renting it in Manhattan. Someone asked me why do I need to rent it out ? It is not a question of needing to, it is a matter of wanting to, as a business investment.

Then invest in more than just one, and not your personal one. Start a limo service, because most likely nobody's gonna drive it. Then again, you probably have the 57, so it's more of a driver's car. So who will rent it? Rappers? Good luck getting the stains out...

I personally don't see it as a sound investment...

nice, can you post some pics? what color is it?

you might want to look into what kind of insurance you would need to do this and if its really cost effective. im sure you wouldnt let random people drive/use the car under your own policy

I'm sure there will be plenty of demand for it

But I would also think the 62 would be more in demand and definetly with a chauffer.

Someone in NJ is actually looking to rent a Maybach out:

"renting" a MayBach? I doubt you will find any takers.

Now then, if you drove people around in it, ala limo service, that is a definate possibility

i find that funny coming from someone from "sunny south florida", i know people all the time who go down to south beach and rent ferraris and lambos just for the weekend or however long their trip is. people who travel, that have cash and are used to driving around in luxury and exotic cars dont think twice about renting these cars. none of my friends would go away and rent a ford focus or hyundai accent. even hertz has realized this and now gives the option of renting a jaguar or an escalade over a towncar or some other nonsense. i was just down in orlando last week and me and my 3 friends rented an xj8 to get from the airport to universal studios rather than take the shuttle bus.

sometimes a market demands the thing that isnt in the market....a person creates demand through marketing etc...other than that i think the price is a bit high, might want to consider the rates of exotic sports cars which are a few hundred a day.

coming from someone from brooklyn.. Well, nevermind. this thread is obviously bogus as I know of no one who would pawn their $400,000 vehicle to other people.

LOL, thats all you can come up with. dude, im just letting you know whats up. have you never been to south beach? come on you know whats up down there, its like a car show on ocean drive every day. just cause you would never shell out the cash to rent a luxury or exotic car while on vacation or for a special occasion, dont get so sensitive.

I have to disagree with you, and agree with Mr. Xristo on this one. I think there is a huge difference between renting a ferrari or a lambo compared to renting a Maybach or other luxury limo type vehicle. The first two are cars to be driven, the latter is a car to be driven in. Now if by suggesting that he is renting a Maybach means that he is renting it with a driver, then it's really more of a limo service than a car rental.

Sure, there will be some takers for a rental, but I'm not sure there would be enough to make it worth it, and I think he would make more money using it as a limo. -Just my opinion though.

But then it's not really a "rental car" and more of a limo service.

Well this is true. But I wonder how much more he could come down and still make it worth the while. I would imagine the insurance rates would be astronomical, especially if you were to let anyone over 25 with a credit card drive it.
